The AGM was held on Saturday 30th May and nearly 40 members attended on a bright sunny day. The minutes will be published at a later date but the membership agreed to accept most of the proposals put forward by the committee. We have received a great response on members purchasing club packages, its even more pleasing when we see that at least 10 kids will own a club package. The winner of the free travel to a game was Tucker.
On Sunday the coach left Ballycastle for the Tommy Burns Game, when we got to Celtic Park over 60 members took their seats within that number nearly 30 kids from Ballycastle, Maghera, Caldy, Magherfelt, Ballymena and Belfast. A special thanks to big Keith for helping out and the Connor family who travelled in huge numbers. A great day was had by all but we need to learn the new coach park exit route !!!
Congratulations to Nicky and Kathleen who have recently became proud parents for the first time. Baby Emer was born in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on the 2nd March 2009.
Nicky is originally from Ballymena but is now living in Newtownabbey and has been a member of Ballymena Shamrock CSC for over 10 years. Nicky plans to raise baby Emer as a full blooded Celtic supporter and looks forward to bringing Emer over to her first game. Nicky get Emer signed up to the huddle club !!!
